The Lord of the Rings: Andy Serkis ready to return if Peter Jackson is in charge

Warner confirmed its intention to develop a new series of films on the Lord of the Rings. But since no one has a clue what these films are about or what characters will appear in them, many fans are still unsure how to receive the news. Either way, someone close to the franchise is ready to return to Middle-earth…provided Peter Jackson and his original collaborators are in charge. Inside EW, the actor who brought Gollum to life, Andy Serkis, expressed his desire for Warner’s projects for the future of the Lord of the Rings.

” Listen, [les producteurs] Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens are in a way a second family of which I was a part and with which I made so many films. And, let me tell you, they are the best and most amazing people to work with. I think there are so many other potential Middle-earth projects that could see the light of day, and if they come to fruition, I would of course jump at the chance to rekindle this relationship. »

Andy Serkis also added that “Middle-earth has never left me”, which is hardly surprising. In recent years, he has recorded numerous audiobooks for each episode of the LOTR saga. In addition, he sometimes takes over the voice of Gollum when he participates in The Late Show.
