The logistics startup for e-commerce Amphora closes a round of € 1M

Amphora, the startup that offers logistics solutions to e-commerce driven by technology, has captured 1 million euros. The capital injection will go to improve the product and add new functionalities that allow them keep improving on automation, so that they can offer higher value-added services for customers. In addition, they are going to focus on growth in the Spanish market, developing the team in the areas of Marketing and Sales.

With the capital inflow, the company also plans to open, in 2022, three new logistics Hubs in Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Milan.

The round is led by JME and Kapita, but Encomedna, Abac and Bstartup have also participated, in addition to having public funding from ENISA and ICF (Catalan Institute of Finance).

Amphora offers a solution to e-commerce so that they can grow, allowing their teams to ignore the logistics part, outsourcing this service, to dedicate more time to their business.

The startup has a network of warehouses, carriers and an integrated technology to optimize the logistics chain, from the moment a sale occurs in an online store until the product reaches the end customer, that is, it manages everything from the warehouse inventory to the dispatch of orders. Everything, improving delivery times, shipping costs and the customer experience.

Behind Amphora are the CEO, Adrià Cortés, the CTO, Joaquim Sant, and the COO, Joan Tresserras. Currently the team is made up of 10 workers and they plan to close the year with five more professionals.
