Riyadh: The list of the most powerful passports in the world has been released in which the Saudi passport is ranked 55th.
According to Arab media reports, the position of the Saudi passport improved further in the list of the most powerful passports released by the ‘Passport Index’ and reached 44th position after several degrees of improvement.
Earlier, the country’s passport was ranked 71st, the report said.
The Passport Index says the lifting of travel bans in several countries following the Corona crisis has strengthened the Saudi passport and strengthened its position.
In terms of passports, the Emirati passport tops the list, allowing travel to 152 countries, while 98 countries do not require a visa to travel.
New Zealand came in second, followed by Germany, Finland, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea and Australia.
Note that Afghan, Iraqi and Syrian passports are included at the end of the list.
