The Last Indiana Jones grosses $130 million in its opening weekend in theaters

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” the fifth and final adventure of the archaeologist played by Harrison Ford, grossed $130 million worldwide in its opening weekend, Disney reported Monday.

The figure that rises to 152 million since the day of its premiere, on June 28, according to data from the specialized website Box Office Mojo.

The film was number one in countries like France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia and Argentina.

Some figures far from the absolute world box office record for the first weekend, held by “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), with 357 million dollars, according to Box Office Mojo.

Ford gets into Indy’s skin for the last time in a film directed by James Mangold -which thus replaces Steven Spielberg, who dealt with the first four- and in which he is accompanied by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Karen Allen, Antonio Banderas or John Rhys-Davies.
