A film just as cursed as any other production of the 20th Century Fox : The New Mutants. The filming of The King’s Man, prequel to the saga of Matthew vaughn, was launched in February 2019 in the studios Longcross in England, after having been thought since June 2018. The director-writer of the film also confided that The King’s Man was not going to hamper the start of a Kingsman 3 who will continue the adventures ofHarry and Eggsy beyond the Golden Circle.
Since the start of filming, the film has undergone cascading postponements. It was originally scheduled to release the November 15, 2019, but due to the takeover of the Fox through Disney, he was pushed back to February 14, 2020, then to September 18, 2020 (other feature films have also had enormous difficulty entering the Disney catalog such as Underwater or the Call of the Forest). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic which undermined the entire year 2020, it was once again postponed to February 26, 2021, before being brought forward two weeks to February 12, 2021, then again postponed by a month to March 12, 2021. The King’s Man paid for the will of Disney to return to the forefront of the film scene with great caution.
In January 2021, it is once again postponed to August 20, 2021. In March 2021, it is postponed to December 22, 2021 as well as in France and at UK who decreed the closure of cinemas at the start of 2021.
