The joint declaration of the end of the Green Initiative Conference in Sharm Al-Sheikh

Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, a joint declaration has been issued at the end of the Green Initiative Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh.

According to Saudi media, the leaders in the conference have decided to stop the factors that harm the environment.

Conference participants have agreed to plant 50 billion trees in the region for environmental protection.

According to the joint declaration, a regional center will be established to monitor environmental protection and climate change, while a consensus has been reached for aquatic life and marine protection.

Apart from providing clean and clean energy, the leaders have also pledged to provide food to 750 people around the world.

Apart from this, it has also been agreed to reduce carbon emissions, for which a budget of 39 billion riyals has been allocated.

It should be noted that Saudi Arabia will pay 15 percent of the budget allocated for food supply and carbon emissions.

The conference also emphasized the importance of afforestation and environmental protection in Africa.

At the end of the conference, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman thanked all participants and emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts.
