According to foreign media, on Saturday night, Jews have turned into a protest against the attempt of Israel’s extremist Prime Minister Netanyahu to avoid corruption cases, thousands of Jews came out on the streets of Israel and shouted slogans against Netanyahu.
The protesters are protesting against changes in the legal system by the government.
Demonstrators said that the Israeli Prime Minister is being prosecuted for defamation, but the government wants to end defamation cases by making changes in the judicial system.
According to Israeli media, police officials say that despite the rain in Tel Aviv, more than eighty thousand people came to Habima Square and the surrounding streets like a flood. Thousands of people also protested in Jerusalem.
Participants compared Netanyahu to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and said Israel was becoming a semi-democratic Hungary and a Malayalistic Iran. The participants also held banners that read Netanyahu ‘Crime Minister’.
