With the date of Apple’s spring conference approaching, we learned that the iPhone Se 5G is not the most anticipated device by users.
The well-known smartphone, available in a more affordable version, was expected to be the most desired, but it seems that user preferences are turning to something completely different. Then we reveal everything to you.
The 27-inch iMac is more desirable than the iPhone SE 5G
Since Apple’s usual spring event is only a few months away, the 9To5Mac website asks users which equipment they would like to see and/or have at this conference. Available answer options are: iPhone SE 5G, iPad Air 5, iPad Pro with M2 processor, refreshed MacBook Air, and 27-inch iMac.
And surprise of surprises, for now the most anticipated device is the 27-inch iMac, which adds a total of 26.83% of the votes. In second place is the renewed MaBook Air and only in sixth place is the iPhone SE 5G with 7.29% of the votes. In last place is the iPad Air 5, which so far has only gathered 6.79%.
It is important to note that the vote is still ongoing, but it is still surprising that an affordable version of the well-known smartphone did not almost immediately rise to the top of the preferences.
What will the iPhone SE 5G look like?
For now there is little information about the affordable model, but rumors suggest that it maintains the design of the current model, but that it integrates a 4.7-inch screen.
Other sources indicate that the 2022 iPhone SE will be equipped with Apple’s A15 Bionic chip and will have support for 5G communications. This is, in fact, its strongest buying argument that could even drive a billion Android users to switch to iOS. This is at least the expectation of several market analysts.
Specs expected on the 27-inch iMac

But what makes users want to see the new 27-inch iMac? First of all, the 27-inch screen. If its “only” 24-inch predecessor was so successful, another three inches could take this new model to a level of success never seen before.
On the other hand, it is also noted that the model is equipped with a miniLED screen with ProMotion technology, which will provide more accurate and vivid colors.
Finally, the 27-inch iMac should also integrate the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors from the MacBook Pro series, which will surely catch the attention of many Apple fans.
