Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 13 and iPhone13 Pro this fall. The latest research from TrendForce show that one of these phones will have a new chipset, potentially faster than its previous models. The phone series may also come with larger batteries and higher mmWave availability too!
Apple is expected to launch the latest iPhone next September, which will feature a new A15 bionic chip that has been designed with better performance and efficiency. Apple’s previous rigid and flexible PCB design has been changed to allow more space inside phones so they can make room for larger batteries.
Apple is said to be equipping the iPhone 13, and more specifically its Pro variant, with a 3,095 mAh battery, a 10% improvement over last year’s model! However, the mini will receive 2,406 (8%) while the Max will receive 4,352 (18%).
This extra battery capacity will certainly come in handy for customers using 5G networks.
Apple is poised to expand the availability of mmWave outside of the US It seems likely that Western Europe, which includes Germany and the UK, will have access to this functionality, as well as other developed regions.
Last but not least, the iPhone 13 line is believed to include some significant advancements in the camera department. Recent information pointed to major updates in the video department with features like Video ProRes and vertical video.
TrendForce also dares to predict prices, with the expectation that Apple will stick with what the investigating agency calls its current “aggressive pricing strategy” to boost sales. If that’s true, we can expect the iPhone 13 to be attractively priced: iPhone 13 mini – $ 699 iPhone 13 – $ 799 iPhone 13 Pro – $ 999 iPhone 13 Pro Max – $ 1,099.
The success of Apple’s iPhone could continue for another year thanks to the iPhone 13.
