On October 4, the European Medicines Agency approved the administration of a third dose of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine for all adults over 18, leaving the choice to each nation to decide on its own vaccination schedule. .

The 3rd dose under debate

The French health authorities have not yet decided to extend the recall campaign to the entire population, but the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) has, on the other hand, recommended extending it to all health professionals who take care of it. responsibility for vulnerable people.

Despite the decline in the pandemic in recent weeks, the government also wants to keep the health pass at a minimum until November 15. A bill was also presented on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers to allow the government to extend it beyond this date if necessary.
