This Sunday’s tests in the waters of the Abra will decide the winners of the Guadalimar-Say Languages Light Sailing Trophy, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, in the Optimist, FEVA, ILCA and Snipe classes. After the successful José Luis Azqueta Trophy, this competition, which is also the Bizkaia Championship, celebrates its last day starting at noon this coming Sunday. This Trophy started with some tests on Saturday March 25 and, for the moment, Javier Bilbao and Franz Lenz are leaders in the FEVA class, followed by Ignacio Murcia and Iván Sales, Jon Berastegui and Covadonga García-Santamarina and Fernando Gómez and Ricardo Gil, these three couples with seven points to three of the first. Nicolás Bastard holds the lead in Optimist 1 and Paula Gómez in Optimist 2. Martín Bueno is first in ILCA 6 ahead of Ane Lejarraga and Pablo Zerón; and Perico Basterra and Borja Sainz lead the Snipe class classification, with Enrique Arriola and Pablo Gomez second.
