Title: Strengthening cybersecurity in Moncloa: A look at the latest measures taken

In recent days, the government has taken concrete measures to strengthen cybersecurity in Moncloa, particularly with regard to the protection of Pedro Sánchez.

On February 1, the executive made an urgent formalization a contract worth 647,350 euros for the commissioning of cybersecurity services within the framework of the regional council.

The Contracts Committee has chosen to follow Article 119 of Law 9/2017 on Public Sector Contracts, which allows this Conclude contracts without advertising and keep the contract documents confidentialdetailing the reasons for purchasing the service.

Despite Vozpópuli’s request for a statement to the Secretary of State for Communications on the “urgency” of the contract, the company has not yet received a response.

Concerns about cyberattacks in Moncloa go back a long way and even affect the PSOE’s infrastructure. Last November, the hacker group FailSistem, linked to the Venezuelan hackers #TeamHDP, attacked the PSOE and La Moncloa websites and accessed a database containing sensitive information. The group threatened to disclose party information and emails and even captured Pedro Sánchez’s personal phone number.
