The Glory Star Jung Sung il Divorces Wife After Nine Years, To Co-Parent Child

South Korean actor Jung Sung-il, celebrated for his role in the Netflix series “The Glory,” and his wife have announced their decision to divorce. The couple agreed to end their nine-year marriage through mutual consent.

Jung Sung-il’s agency, XYZ Studio, officially confirmed the separation. Their statement indicated that the decision followed extensive and thoughtful discussions between the pair.

The divorce was finalized amicably, with neither party assigning blame. Both Jung Sung-il and his former wife are committed to co-parenting their child together moving forward.

The 45-year-old actor married in 2016. The couple initially met through mutual acquaintances and established a connection as pen pals. They later reconnected and chose to marry within three months of their renewed acquaintance.

Jung Sung-il launched his career in 2002 with the film “H.” He achieved widespread recognition in 2022 for his portrayal of Ha Do-yeong in “The Glory.” His upcoming projects include the series “Made in Korea.”
