The Global 6K for Water adds aid to Ukrainian refugees

After not being held in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID pandemic, The Global 6K for Water returns this year to the streets of Madrid. On May 22, the world’s largest Race for Water returns to the capital. The Global 6K for Water race is an initiative of World Vision International and is the most important drinking water event in the world. The money raised, as in the rest of the editions, will go to bring drinking water to children around the world.

This year, however, a new solidarity cause is added, and it is that a project is also added to help Ukrainian refugees. Registration is now open on the race website (www.global6kforwater.es) for the two possible distances: 6 and 10 kilometers, both starting at the Polytechnic University and finishing at the Parque del Cuarto DepĆ³sito.

Furthermore, anyone who wishes can make a donation for the causes of the project also from the website of the test.
