The G7 and Australia will cap the price of Russian petroleum products

The agreement includes a ceiling price of 45 euros per barrel for low-refined products such as fuel oil, and another of 100 dollars per barrel for more expensive products such as diesel. It comes two days before the start of an EU embargo on these products. A first agreement had been reached at the beginning of December, to cap the price of Russian oil only, at 60 dollars a barrel.
