As well as Guilavogui, other well-known La Liga defenders such as Víctor Ruiz and Feddal are currently without a club. Both players have experience of Spanish football and could know their way around the local competition as affordable options.
Although the transfer market is closed, the market for players without a contract still offers opportunities to strengthen Granada.
