The five players to watch from the Chiefs vs. Bucs

Super Bowl LV will have a repeat when Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) receive the Kansas City chiefs (2-1) at Raymond James Stadium for Week 4 Sunday Night Football following Hurricane Ian’s passage through Southwest Florida.

Both teams come into the match after losing in their respective games last week in the last minutes. Tom Brady and company came close to forcing overtime against the Packeres by missing a two-point conversion and Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs couldn’t stop Matt Ryan and the Colts on the final drive of the game.

In NFL history, Tampa Bay and Kansas City have met 14 times, including in the postseason, and the record favors the Buccaneers 8-6.

Here are the five players to watch from the Chiefs vs. Bucks.

Tom Brady

After three games, Tom Brady has had the worst start to a season in his career. The 45-year-old QB has 673 yards and three TDs after completing 67 of the 193 passes he has attempted in 2022. In 23 professional games, TB12 has faced the Chiefs 10 times in regular season and his averages are 256 yards, 1.4 TDs and an interception after completing an average of 20 throws.

patrick mahomes

The 2018 MVP started the season with five touchdown passes and 362 yards on 76.92 percent completion, but in the last two games his production has decreased in all aspects. Against Indianapolis he only completed 57 percent of his passes for 262 yards with one TD and one INT so against Tampa Bay he will look to improve his performance.

Mike Evans

After missing the Week 3 game against the Packers through suspension, Evans will give Tom Brady a reliable target. The wide receiver has caught eight of 11 passes thrown his way for 132 yards and a touchdown..

L’Jarius Sneed

The defensive back is the second Chiefs tackler with 23 total tackles and You will have to take care of the coverage of the best rival WR. To date, opposing QBs have thrown in his direction 20 times and the cornerback has allowed 16 receptions for 178 yards and a touchdown. His versatility has allowed him to charge the quarterback 13 times and Sneed has two sacks.

Leonard Fournette

According to Pro Football Reference, the Chiefs have allowed 206 rushing yards (9th best) and 170 aerials (3rd worst) to rival running backs. Because of that, Fournette, who has nine receptions for 54 yards, could have a nice comeback when catching short passes from TB12 on Sunday Night.
