The first women’s tournament will be presented at the AFA premises

O women’s soccer tournament, which this season will be renamed the YPF Tournament, It will be presented this Wednesday, at 2 pm, on the AFA website in Ezeiza in an act that will be broadcast by Public Television and DeporTV, signals that will also broadcast the championship matches.

The event foresees two presentations: the one of the I sponsor what the oil company YPF will do for women’s football and the agreements signed between Radio y Televisión Argentina SE (RTA) and Contenidos Públicos SE (CP) with the AFA, of which Public TV and DeporTV will present the tournament alternatives. In addition to Claudio Tapia, president of the AFA, and Santiago Carreras, manager of Institutional Affairs and Communication at YPF, among the employees invited to the event are also: Francisco Meritello, secretary of Media and Public Communication; Rosario Lufrano, president of RTA; Bernarda Llorente, president of the public body Télam; Jésica Tritten, general manager of CP; Claudio Martínez, executive director of TV Pública; Daniel Dátola, director of DeporTV; and Rosaura Audi, Undersecretary of Public Media.

For the national government will be present ministers Matías Lammens (Sports and Tourism) and Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta (Women, Gender and Diversity) and Macarena Sánchez, head of the National Youth Institute. Representing the Province of Buenos Aires, in turn, will be its governor, Axel Kicillof, alongside ministers Andrés Larroque (Community Development) and Augusto Costa (Production), joined by Javier Lovera, Undersecretary of Sports, and Victoria Tolosa Paz, who heads the list of candidates for national deputies in that district.

The event will also feature the captains of the AFA Women’s Football League teams, the technical direction of the Women’s Selection, club presidents and directors of the Women’s League, and with guests such as Maximiliano Rodríguez, Pablo Aimar and Javier Mascherano.
