The first virtual Congress in Neurosciences applied to Sport is approaching

The Carmelo Pittera Foundation announces the launch of the “First Virtual Congress in Neurosciences applied to sport, education and health. A “Look from the Cognitive Motor”, with the support of various institutions, which will take place from November 6 to 30.

It’s about a innovative event under a 100% online modality: with the avant-garde stamp of the Carmelo Pittera Foundation, the Congress will have exhibitions live and on demand, that is, that the contents will be available on an online platform for 24 days (from 11/6 to 11/30).

The event will start on Saturday, November 6 with the presence of the former coach of the Italian Volleyball Team and creator of the PSICOM system, Carmelo Pittera. Along with him, he will also expose his disciple and physical trainer of high performance teams, Agustin Ganly; kinesiologist and Physical Education Teacher Emilio Masabeu; the Professor of Physical Education, and specialist in Physical Preparation, Mario Di Santo; and the Doctor of Medicine, and gerontologist, Diego Bernardini among other figures from the thematic areas

The contents will be divided into three large areas: Sports, Education and Health, with specialists and commentators who will go through each specialty with a view from the Cognitive Motor.

In sports, experiences related to cognitive motor development in soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, boxing, swimming, table tennis and physical preparation.

In education, there will be presentations on experiences at initial level linked to the application of the PSICOM system -development of the Cognitive Motor Psycho- in the school curriculum, and in teacher training. “The structure of the congress includes a second meeting with the speaker one week after the presentation, in order to deepen concepts and affirm the understanding of the contents “, they pointed out.

In health, they will be carried out proposals for the application of a cognitive motor program in older people; the integration of the cognitive motor in cardiovascular resistance work; and in the injury prevention and recovery. To finish the aquafitness within the aquatic gymnastics, it will show how cognitive-motor is applied in classes for older adults and its progress.
