The electoral board for the elections in the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) has confirmed Alejandro Blanco as the only candidate to preside over the body.
The elections to be held on December 1.
The deadline for submission of candidatures closed on October 29, without there being other applicants.
Blanco presented the endorsements of all the Olympic federations and most of the non-Olympians.
The electoral board will admit possible claims until the 16th and 19th the final list will be published.
After winning the 2005 elections, Blanco (Orense, 1950) was reelected in 2009, 2013 and 2017.
