The design of Xiaomi 14 may disappoint those who expect changes

It will be a long way before the Xiaomi 14 reaches global markets. These are normally introduced to China in November or December and reach global markets around February of the following year.

This should happen with the Xiaomi 14. But that did not stop the alleged specifications of this series of smartphones from appearing online a few days ago. And now it is his possible final design that appears.

The Digital Chat Station leaker shared on the Weibo social network what the schematic design of the Xiaomi 14 will be. As can be seen in the drawing below, it could remain faithful to the features of the previous generation.

Xiaomi 14 should keep the design of Xiaomi 13

This is especially noticeable at the rear with a square camera island, similar to the one on the Xiaomi 13. However, the main and telephoto cameras take up more space than on current models. The smaller circles on the right should be for the ultra-wide sensor and the LED flash.

On the front we see a panel that seems flat and with reduced margins, so it should be the base model of the Xiaomi 14. Like the Xiaomi 13, it should come with a central hole for the front camera.

It should be one of the first smartphones to hit the market with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a processor that should only launch closer to the end of the year. It is also referenced with a 4860 mAh battery, with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

At this point in the ‘championship’, you have to keep in mind that this design is nothing more than something unofficial. Only closer to launch will we be able to confirm. Maintaining the design of the Xiaomi 13, it is the brand that is committed to the strategy of rivals such as Apple or Samsung, and that helps the device to create a certain identity.
