On the occasion of the fifth demonstration on Saturday against the health pass, 215,000 people gathered yesterday in the streets of the main French cities to denounce the establishment of the health pass, according to the Interior Ministry. A figure that is maintained from one week to the next despite the strong heat of late August and the many vacationers in this summer period.
According to the accounts kept by the Interior Ministry, about 215,000 protesters, including 13,900 in the capital, took to the streets to demonstrate against the establishment of the health pass, extended in many places since Monday, August 9.
On the occasion of the fifth consecutive weekend of mobilization, the ministry observed a very slight drop in the number of participants, estimated at 237,000 protesters across France last week.
Usually accused by the anti-sanitary pass of lowering the count of these social movements, the Ministry of the Interior keeps accounts diametrically opposed to those raised by the organizations that defend the movement.
For example, the militant group “El Número Amarillo” for its part had identified at least 415,000 protesters last Saturday in all cities affected by the demonstrations against the health pass.
This Saturday, at 7:00 p.m., the authorities registered only 11 arrests and one injured among the police throughout the French territory.
