The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on an official visit to France

Twice is not customary, but it becomes regular. After his first visit to Paris since the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Mohammed bin Salman is back for an official visit. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is expected in France on Wednesday to meet with Emmanuel Macron, the Palais-Royal announced.

De facto leader of the rich oil kingdom, Mohammed ben Salmane will also participate in the Summit for a new global financial pact, organized on 22 and 23 in Paris, added the Palais-Royal in a press release. He must also attend a ceremony scheduled for June 19 in the French capital to formalize Saudi Arabia’s candidacy to host the 2030 World Expo, according to the same source.
