Dominican Republic, was elected to the presidency of the Latin American Center for Development Administration (CLAD), during the LI Ordinary Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors, held this Tuesday in Bogotá, capital of Colombia.
The presidency is held by the country on Minister of Public Administration, Darío Castillo Lugo.
After receiving the unanimous support of the members of the Board of Directors of CLAD, the head of the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP) immediately assumed the functions as president of that international organization, for the period 2021-2023.
Castillo Lugo stated that, with this election, the The Dominican Republic undertakes to work, together with the States that make up CLAD, to strengthen the transformation process of the Ibero-American region, facing the new challenges that the Public Administration must face, and reinforcing cooperation ties with other international organizations.

“We express our commitment, as a country, to the activities of this important international organization, an obligatory reference in matters of Public Administration and State Reform,” said the official.
