Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the horrific fires in more than 100 places in the country a possible conspiracy.
According to Turkish media, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan an took an aerial view of the forest fires and was briefed on the damage caused by the fires.
Speaking on the occasion, Tayyip Erdogan said that we have found indications of conspiracy in the fire incidents that have been investigated.
He said that all possible help would be provided to citizens affected by the fire and that they would not be left alone and all kinds of losses would be compensated.
The Turkish president said that 50 million lira had been provided to meet the immediate needs of the areas affected by the fire and that damage to farms, livestock and greenhouses would also be compensated.
In addition, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss cooperation and bilateral relations.
Tayyip Erdogan thanked President Putin for sending eight helicopters to put out the fire and the Russian president expressed hope that the forest fires in Turkey will soon be under control.
