Jaya Ahsan is an equally popular face in the showbiz of both Bengals. The Bangladeshi ‘Guerrilla’ actress will enter Bollywood today. Jaya’s first Hindi film ‘Karak Singh’ will premiere at the Goa International Film Festival of India today. Before the exhibition, the film’s actors will walk the festival’s red carpet.

Jaya also performed at the opening ceremony of the 54th edition of the festival last Monday. ‘Karak Singh’ director Anirudh Roy Chowdhury, co-artists Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjana Sanghira were with him.

Jaya shared the photo taken with this all-Indian star on Facebook and wrote, “With Vijay Sethupathi sir. IFFI MOMENT.”

The trailer of ‘Karak Singh’ was released on the opening day of the Goa festival. Pankaj Tripathi’s acting is excellent throughout the trailer and Jaya’s Hindi dialogues are heard for the first time.

The audience really liked the trailer. The film will be released on G-5 after the festival this year. However, the release date has not been announced yet.

The ‘Devi’ actress is looking forward to working with ‘Pink’ fame director Anirudh Roy Chowdhury and Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi. Four films by this Bangladeshi actor will be screened at the Goa Festival (November 20-28). Not only ‘Karak Singh’, Murtaza Atashzamzam’s Iranian film Fereshte, Suman Mukherjee’s ‘Pull Nacher Itikatha’ and Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Ardhangini’ will be screened. Jaya Ahsan is no stranger to festivals in Goa. Akram Khan’s ‘Nakshikanthar Zamin’ from Bangladesh was also highly appreciated there last season. Jaya Ahsan, the actress of this film, was separately praised.
