Claudio Echeverri's move to Manchester City appears to be a fact as the English club has secured his signing from River Plate for €18 million and other variables. However, the 18-year-old is expected to remain with the Argentine outfit on loan and may move to Girona ahead of his arrival in the Premier League.
The agreement originally called for Echeverri to stay at River Plate until December 31, 2024, unless his participation in the team is limited, which could bring forward his departure before that date. This move, according to “Olé”, suggests that his next destination will be Girona, who could apparently ask City for the favor of an immediate loan, strengthening the Catalan team for the second round of the championship, in which they will hopefully move on fight for the championship title.
