The Champions Cup enters this Saturday at the penultimate date

Calero, the representative team of Santo Domingo, will face San Cristóbal this Saturday, while La Vega will face La Romana in the penultimate phase of the Superior Volleyball Champions Cup.

The match between the women from the capital, who with a 4-0 record have already secured the first position in the tournament that in the women’s division will now take place at the roofed Max Simon, from La Romana (East), and San Cristóbal (4-3 ), will begin at six in the afternoon in the Max Simon multipurpose room.

The southerners, who are fighting a close fight with La Vega (3-4) for the second and last qualifying place in the final, will play the eliminated team from La Romana (0-7) in a match scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. 30 at night.

The fourth men’s round, for its part, will be held at the Bayaguana sports center, where starting at six o’clock the local team will face off in a crucial match, representing the East region, which is second with a record of 4-3) and Santo Sunday (3-4).

Later the pointers of the North (Santiago) and the monarchs of Cabral (2-5) will take to the field, a tris of disqualification.

The two teams with the best performance in each field will play the final next weekend in the roof of the one that finishes first. Calero already has the location secured.

The Superior Volleyball Champions Cup has the endorsement and organization of the Dominican Federation of that discipline, chaired by Alexis García.
