An 11-foot-tall crocodile from the US state of Florida was killed while driving.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the car of 59-year-old John Hopkins from Florida collided with an 11-foot-long crocodile last night, as a result of which the crocodile including Hopkins also died.
People at the scene reported the accident to police.
According to police, the 59-year-old man’s car overturned and fell into a ditch.
Hopkins’ Facebook page identifies him as a Tennessee citizen who has served as an information technology supervisor for the US Census Bureau.
According to the Daily Mail, he left a daughter in mourning while he was listed as a single in his Facebook account.
Florida officials say there are currently about 1.3 million crocodiles in the state that live in different parts of all Florida cities and cause more accidents.
