The body of an international footballer was recovered 12 days after the earthquake in Turkey

The body of Christian Atsu, the international footballer of the African country Ghana, who went missing after the earthquake in Turkey, was pulled out from the rubble after 12 days.

According to Turkey’s official news channel TART, international footballer Christian Atsu from the African country of Ghana was missing along with thousands of others in the February 6 earthquake.

Christian Atsu’s body has been recovered from the wreckage after 12 days. He was identified from his mobile phone.

Apart from his country, Christian Atsu also played for the famous Turkish football club Hatayaspor Club.

The agent of 31-year-old Christian Atsu said in his statement that he is informing all well-wishers from the bottom of his heart that the body of Christian Atsu has been recovered. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers and support.

On the other hand, the death toll from the Turkey earthquake has reached 40 thousand 642, search and rescue work for people buried under the debris has been terminated in most provinces.
