The black box of a passenger plane that crashed in China has been found. The plane crash killed 132 passengers and crew. According to Chinese aviation officials, the voice and data recorder of Boeing 737 has been found in one of the two black boxes. It is not yet clear whether the black box is a data recorder or a voice recorder.

Chinese media say that the black box found is also in a damaged condition. It should be noted that the Boeing 737 passenger plane of China Eastern Airlines crashed in the southern mountainous region on Monday, March 21 in China.

On the other hand, the United States has been invited to participate in the investigation of the crash because the plane was designed in the United States.

An official from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) told reporters that according to preliminary information, the first black box to be found on Wednesday was a cockpit voice recorder. The official said the recording material had not been affected and had been sent to Beijing for analysis.

The cockpit voice recorder will provide investigators with contact details between the three pilots. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. Chinese officials said the pilots did not respond to repeated calls from air traffic controllers during the rapid landing.

Zhao Tao, a CAAC official, quoted the first black box as saying, “Initial inspection revealed that the outer part of the recorder was severely damaged, but the storage units are relatively complete.”

“The black box is being sent to an institute in Beijing for decoding, but how long this process takes will depend on the extent of the damage,” Zhou said.

Mao Yanfeng, head of aircraft investigations at CAAC, said the weather on the flight path on Monday did not pose a threat to the aircraft and air controllers contacted him after takeoff and before its emergency landing. Was

China’s state-run television channel CCTV quoted the provincial emergency management bureau as saying that a Chinese Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 had crashed in the Guangxi area near the city of Vizhou.
