Australia’s star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell could be ruled out of the ODI series against India later this month amid caution ahead of the World Cup. Maxwell suffered and has recovered from a left ankle injury last year but suffered from ankle pain during the recently concluded T20I series against South Africa. They don’t want to put too much pressure on me to set a date because they know they have some time left before the World Cup. Maxwell said I’d rather take more time to make sure we can play the entire tournament than rush.
All teams must submit their 15-man World Cup roster to the ICC by September 5, with changes open until September 27.
