The Australian team continues to dominate in India and prevail in every respect

The three-match ODI series between India and Australia begins on September 22, with the first match to be played in Mohali. Coming close to the ODI World Cup, this ODI series will also be a better opportunity for both teams to test their preparations ahead of the mega event. The Australian team has had a much better record in the 50-overs format in India so far.

Australia has so far played 146 matches against India in the ODI format and won 82 of them. The Indian team, on the other hand, managed to win 54 games. Otherwise, no result could be determined in 10 matches. If we look at Kangaroo team’s ODI record against Team India in India, it is also much better. Australia won 32 out of 67 matches while the Indian team won 30 matches. There was no result in 5 games.

This is the second time the Australian team is traveling to India. A three-match ODI series was also played between the two teams in early February and March, after the end of the Test series. The Australian team won it 2-1.

The Australian team was in South Africa ahead of their India tour where they suffered a 2-3 defeat in the 5-match ODI series. However, many key players in the Kangaroo team did not play in this series due to their unfitness, with the names of captain Pat Cummins and Steve Smith coming to the fore. Both players are included in the squad announced against India. Apart from this, Mitchell Starc is also making a comeback after getting fit.

The first ODI of the series between the two teams will be played on September 22 in Mohali. There will then be clashes at the Indore ground on September 24 and September 27. Immediately after the end of this series, it starts from October 5th, which this time will be hosted by India.
