José Mourinho left an unforgettable mark as coach of AS Roma, both in terms of sport and finance. According to the latest information, the total costs of the coaching staff in the first year in the Italian capital amounted to an incredible sum of 19.09 million euros. This spending was largely driven by bonuses from winning the Conference League, a historic success for the club.
Despite this sporting success, Roma had to cope with considerable financial expenditure, which decreased slightly to 17.97 million euros in the second season. However, there are still financial concerns as, according to the Italian media “Calcio e Finanza”, the club still has to pay around 9 million euros by the end of June following the Portuguese’s dismissal. This does not include the costs of hiring the next coach, Daniele De Rossi, and his staff team.

It needs a good pinch
José Mourinho was sacked today due to the team's poor results in recent days, but as always, 'The Special One' has managed to score a big comeuppance. The Portuguese had a contract until the end of the season with Roma and the Italians have to pay him 9 million euros, practically half of the salary that he and his coaching staff had earned.
