The Almería, paid on Fridays

The Almería has subscribed to Fridays. Rather, it has been LaLiga, setting the schedules, which has done it. It is no longer something specific, but Rubi’s men have played on Friday or Monday more times than working days, something that only occurs in the rojiblancos and in Huesca (two Fridays and three Mondays) of the 22 teams that make up the Second Division. The Almeria team received Oviedo (2-1) on Friday, August 20, went to Alcorcón (0-4) on September 17 and received Tenerife (2-1) just a week later. Tomorrow (9:00 pm) in Éibar he will have his fourth game on Friday, a day of the week that is not bad at all: three victories in as many games.

Rubi’s men have also had to play two other times on Monday, translated into two wins: opened the league on Monday August 16 in Cartagena (1-3) and performed in Gerona (1-2) on Monday of last week. Thus, there have been only four business days in which the UDA has acted: Sunday September 29 in Lezama (1-0), Saturday September 4 in the Mediterranean against Malaga (2-1), Sunday September 12 in Ponferrada (2-1) and last Saturday at home against Las Palmas (1-1).

SOnly Almería has performed up to three times on Fridays (tomorrow will be four), by two from Sporting, Tenerife, Valladolid, Malaga, Huesca, Zaragoza and Alcorcón, one from Ponferradina, Eibar, Las Palmas, Oviedo, Ibiza, Leganés and Girona, and none from Fuenlabrada, Cartagena, Mirandés, Lugo, Real Sociedad B, Burgos and Amorebieta. On Monday, for their part, Cartagena, Huesca and Mirandés have played on three occasions; Almería, Leganés, Girona and Amorebieta, two, and Las Palmas, Fuenlabrada, Oviedo, Málaga, Lugo and Zaragoza, one. Real Sociedad is the only team that has always played on Saturday or Sunday.

Agustín Sánchez leaves the female

Agustín Sánchez is no longer the coach of the Almería women’s first team. The coach came to office during the development of last season as an interim, but ended the season in office and began the current one. The rojiblanco club has not given more details of the departure of the Almeria, although, as this newspaper has learned, the decision is motivated by time incompatibility. Juanfran Maleno and Hugo Castro, second trainer and physical trainer respectively, are now directing the rojiblancas while the club finalizes closing the replacement for Sánchez. The people from Almeria host Cáceres next Sunday (11:30 am) at the Estadio de la Juventud, with subscribers of the Indálica entity being able to attend for free.
