KABUL: The Afghan Taliban has issued a new order for women not to travel without hijab and close male relatives.

According to details, the Taliban government in Afghanistan has banned women from traveling long distances without a male relative and hijab.

The Afghan government has instructed that women traveling long distances should not be allowed to travel without a man, but the ban will not apply to women traveling short distances.

Taliban announces new laws on women in Afghanistan

The order was issued by the Ministry of Enforcement of the Prohibition of Evil, in which transporters were instructed that women would not be allowed to board vehicles without hijab, ministry spokesman Sadiq Akif Mohajer said. Women traveling are not allowed to travel more than 45 miles unless accompanied by a family member or a man.

The Taliban’s statement regarding music came

Ministry spokesman Sadiq Akif Mohajer clarified that the hijab is now mandatory for traveling women as well. It may be recalled that on August 26, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told the New York Times in an interview that It is baseless, if a woman has to travel for 3 or more days, then she must be accompanied by a Muharram.
