The 93 million signing that Manchester City wants to make

In his search for reinforcements for Manchester City’s wing, Pep Guardiola is once again relying on an old target: Lucas Paquetá. Valued at more than €90 million, City plan to knock on West Ham’s door to secure the services of the talented Brazilian, who is under investigation for his alleged involvement in a betting scheme.

After his time at AC Milan and Olympique Lyon, Lucas Paquetá found his place at West Ham, where he emerged as one of the stars of the Premier League. His growth and performance have put him in the sights of major English clubs, with Manchester City showing renewed interest in signing him after approaching him in the previous market.

An old wish of Pep Guardiola

At the Etihad Stadium, City continue to explore options to strengthen their squad despite already boasting one of the most complete in the world. As well as securing signings such as Argentina’s Claudio Echeverri, Guardiola continues to focus on Paquetá as a key addition to his team.

According to reports from Football Insider, Manchester City would be willing to pay West Ham an amount of almost 93 million euros for Lucas Paquetá. However, the process still needs to be completed pending the completion of legal investigations into the alleged betting case involving the player before the transfer is given the green light.
