Now, Matthias Kuepper, Managing Director and Vice President of Asia Pacific at Cologne Messe, the organizer of gamescom asia, has joined forces with TGS. Sunanta Kangvalkulkit, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), emphasized that this partnership is a significant step in promoting Thailand’s gaming industry. The Thai gaming market is valued at $1.3 billion, with 32 million gamers, or 47% of the population. Thailand ranks 19th globally, 10th in Asia, and second in ASEAN. It’s also one of the three fastest-growing gaming markets in Asia.
