In Rome, the Tesla Model 3 navigated narrow streets and busy traffic. It even handled tough routes like the one from the Capitoline Hill to the Colosseum.

How the Test Worked

The test drive used a standard Model 3 with the latest hardware. The only difference was the special test software.
This version of the system provides supervised driving support. Tesla plans to offer updates that will enable fully autonomous driving in the future.

Tesla’s Rome Test

The test showed how the system handles tough traffic conditions. It reacted to surrounding elements and provided a smooth ride.
All Tesla models come with autopilot as standard. The supervised self-driving system is an advanced version that increases safety and comfort in urban driving.
