Tesla has made a habit of diversifying its activities, quite frankly by the way. In a conference dedicated to the upcoming opening of the Berlin Gigafactory, the head of SpaceX announced the upcoming launch of a Tesla beer: the GigaBier.
“We are going to build a train station with a right of ownership. And then we’ll decorate the factory walls with graffiti, outside, everywhere. I think it will be very cool. And then we’re going to have a beer ”, Elon Musk announced, creating surprise in the audience. According to the billionaire, this brand new beer will be served during the inauguration of the Berlin plant scheduled for the end of 2021.
Tesla GigaBier: like Cybertruck tunes, right?
As can be seen in the image projected on the screen behind Elon Musk, Tesla took pleasure in the design of the bottle which strongly recalls the lines and features of the Cybertruck, the futuristic 100% electric pickup from the brand. It remains to be seen whether Tesla intends to offer this GigaBier on the markets or whether the blonde / brunette / redhead will only be distributed on the Gigafactory site.
Anyway, one wonders what idea Elon Musk has in mind with this beer. It is true that in Germany, beer is a particularly popular product, celebrated even during Oktoberfest. So who knows, maybe the GigaBier will motivate a few engineers who love malt beverages to come and work for Tesla at this brand new production site.
