Teruel returns to Europe after the agreement with the City Council

Teruel will face the Belgian team Tectum Achel in the first round of the European competition Challege Cup, on December 1 at 8:00 p.m. in the Los Planos Pavilion of the
Teruel capital. This was announced this Thursday at a press conference by the club’s president, Carlos Ranera, after signing the collaboration agreement with the Teruel City Council.

Ranera has indicated that the return match will be the following week, on December 9, at the Koekoek Sports Center in Hamont-Achel, at 8.30 pm (local time). Ranera said. The president has signed with the mayor of Teruel, Emma Buj, a collaboration agreement by which the City Council will contribute 95,000 euros to the Teruel club corresponding to 2021.

“For us the support that this agreement supposes that year after year is formalizing endorse the support of the city with this club, since the Town Hall is the home of all the people of Teruel “, Ranera pointed out, recalling that this support “is necessary for the club to run.”

The mayor of Teruel has highlighted the importance of signing this annual agreement that has been increasing in recent years “to the extent of the City Council’s possibilities”, increasing last year from 90,000 to 95,000 euros. “That commitment is firm, it is and it will continue to be,” Buj said after signing, thanking the club “for everything it gives us the people of Teruel, with that good sport that makes Teruel people enjoy in the Los Planos Pavilion” .

By virtue of this agreement, CV Teruel undertakes to continue with the Teruel Ciudad Voley project and in turn collaborate with the Teruel municipality in possible activities to be carried out in the city.
