Terrorist Attack
Quetta. Terrorist country Pakistan is troubled by the continuous terrorist attacks on its own country. Armed attackers have once again attacked army posts in Balochistan. One soldier was killed in this encounter. Four attackers were also killed in the encounter. Armed assailants targeted two security posts in remote areas in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province late Wednesday, killing at least four attackers and a soldier in an encounter. Later, the newly formed Balochistan Nationalist Army claimed responsibility for these attacks in a post on Twitter.

According to an army statement, the first attack took place in Banjgur district of Balochistan district. One soldier lost his life in the encounter. Hours later, the attackers tried to break into a security camp in Naushki, Balochistan, but the soldiers foiled their attempt and killed four attackers, the statement said.
Significantly, due to continuous terrorist activities in Balochistan, Pakistan, there is unrest in this region. Last week, 10 soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack on a security forces check post in Pakistan’s restive south-western Balochistan province. The terrorists carried out this attack on the intervening night of 25-26 January. One terrorist was killed and several others were injured in the army’s retaliation.
Balochistan has become a stronghold of violent insurgency
Balochistan province, bordering Iran and Afghanistan, has been a hotbed of violent insurgency for a long time. Baloch insurgent groups have carried out several attacks in the past targeting China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects in the region.
Blast targeting passenger train in Balochistan
A few days ago, at least five people were injured in an explosion on a railway track in Mashkaf area of Balochistan’s Bolan district. The blast took place when the Rawalpindi-bound Jafar Express was passing through the area. This train was coming from Quetta. The train also derailed due to the explosion.
