Teresa Fernández-Miranda has won the bronze medal today in the BMX Freestyle Park European Championship held in the Russian city of Moscow. The rider from Valladolid, who finished qualifying in third place on Saturday, has repeated a place in a final in which she has set a magnificent performance to, with 81 points, surpass her closest rival, the French Perez, fourth with 80 points . The continental title has been obtained by the Swiss Ducarroz.

On Saturday the qualifying rounds for men were also disputed, in which Arkaitz Armendariz was the best classified by the Spanish National Team at the end of 14th place, only the first twelve qualifying for the Sunday final. Daniel Peñafiel finished 17th, while Miguel Ángel Jódar was unable to compete due to a hand injury. Nor did the other national representative in the female category, Mar Esquer, achieve the pass to the final.
