Teresa Bonvalot is on fire. She just won her sixth national surfing title. This happened at the São Miguel stop of the league.
She’s 25 and a star surfer for Sporting. She’s now won 30 events in the Meo Surf League. Only Patrícia Lopes has won more, with 39 titles.
This season, Bonvalot was unbeatable. She took the top spot in Porto, Ericeira, and the Azores. She came in second in Figueira da Foz.
In São Miguel, she scored 12.10 points out of 20. That beat Maria Salgado, who got nine points. Salgado was the only one who could have delayed Bonvalot’s title win until the next event in Peniche.
Big Wins
Bonvalot also won the Allianz Triple Crown. This is a special trophy for the best surfer in three events: Figueira da Foz, Ericeira, and Ribeira Grande.
She even got a wildcard spot in the Quiksilver Fest in Hossegor, France. This is one of the biggest surfing events out there.
It’s been 10 years since Bonvalot last won back-to-back titles. Now she’s a two-time champion again.
Her win in the Ribeira Grande Pro is a repeat of her successes in 2022 and 2024.
With 30 wins, Bonvalot is making her mark on the surfing world.
