Anand L. Rai’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has showcased a strong box office performance, completing five days in theaters this Tuesday. The film is quickly approaching the significant $12 million milestone.
Its total collection has reached $7.93 million USD as of Tuesday, demonstrating consistent audience engagement. This puts it firmly on track to recover its estimated budget.
The film, which stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, alongside Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub and Prakash Raj, was released on November 28. It opened with a collection of $1.92 million USD.

Its performance improved over the first weekend, earning $2.04 million USD on Saturday and $2.28 million USD on Sunday. The film successfully passed its Monday test, adding $1.05 million USD.
On its fifth day, Tuesday, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ garnered an additional $0.64 million USD. Its current trajectory suggests it could soon join the exclusive $12 million club.
The film’s budget is reportedly between $10.2 million and $11.4 million USD. It is expected to easily cross this figure.

However, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ will face significant competition starting December 5. Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhruandhar’ and ‘Akhanda 2’ are both set for release that day.
The film tells the story of Shankar Gurukkal, played by Dhanush, a DUSU (Delhi University Student Union) president known for his aggressive demeanor. Kriti Sanon portrays Mukti, a research scholar determined to prove that even violent individuals can change.
