Top Players Set to Compete in Davis Cup 2025 Qualifying Round
Several top tennis players have been announced as part of their respective national teams for the first round of qualifying for Davis Cup 2025. Notable players include Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, Australia’s Alex de Miñaur, Denmark’s Holger Rune, and Norway’s Casper Ruud.

Match Schedule and Format
The match between Norway and Argentina is scheduled to take place on January 30 and 31, while the other 12 ties will be played on January 31 and February 1, or February 1 and 2. The venue for the meeting between Israel and Germany has not been announced and will be confirmed once the teams are finalized.
The matches will be played in a best-of-five format, with two singles matches on the first day, followed by the doubles match and the two reverse singles matches on the second day. All matches will be played in the best-of-three tiebreaker sets.
Netherlands Awaits in the Second Round
The 13 winning countries from the first qualifying round will advance to the second round in September, where they will be joined by the 2024 runner-up Netherlands. The second round will feature seven direct elimination rounds, with the teams playing at home or away. The seven winners of the second round will join the 2024 world champions Italy in the 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna in November.
