A tennis teacher was sentenced this Thursday, September 9 by the Saint-Malo correctional court (Ille-et-Vilaine) to thirty months in prison, including eighteen suspended sentences, for having sexually assaulted several of his students.
The facts occurred between 2012 and 2017. Judged on July 9, the 52-year-old man touched about fifteen young girls. The youngest victim was at the time aged 7.5 years, reports West France.
For more than five years, the individual, who was already convicted a few months ago for showing off in front of young girls at the swimming pool, rubbed himself against children and touched their private parts, according to Actu.fr.

In addition to this prison sentence, he will have to take care of himself and compensate the victims, underlines the regional daily, specifying that the fifty-year-old had explained to have experienced these revelations as “a relief”.
“I thank them for speaking, it had to stop. I hate what I did, you can’t imagine, ”he said.
Now registered in the automated judicial file of perpetrators of sexual and violent offenses (Fijais), it is also prohibited from exercising an activity related to minors.
