Although the viewer limit has increased, the Telegram maintains the same limit for 30 users for video streams in a group.

Telegram intends to continue increasing the limit so that eventually “All humans on Earth” can join the same group call.

The change puts Telegram in line with other services that offer large-scale group calls, with a small number of active participants and a larger number of observers. This could make the Telegram attractive to education.

As part of the same update, Telegram also improved its video message function with higher resolutions, which can be expanded by viewers.

The media player includes 0.5x, 1.5x and 2x playback speeds, while individual calls will now include the device sound during screen sharing.

Automatic message deletion now includes the 1 month option along with the previous 1 day and 1 week options. A precision drawing system, new password animations and a new in-app camera are also part of the latest version.
