Television actress Tejasswi Prakash recently celebrated her boyfriend Karan Kundrra’s birthday with a post that quickly drew attention. The accompanying caption sparked considerable discussion among fans and media for its perceived jab at Kundrra’s past relationship.
Prakash wrote on Instagram, “Now he only right swipes for one – me. Happy birthday to the dream man.” This statement was widely interpreted as a subtle reference to dating apps and Kundrra’s previous romantic history.
The post comes on the heels of significant revelations made by Kundrra’s ex-girlfriend, Anusha Dandekar. On her YouTube podcast ‘Unverified,’ Dandekar discussed the end of their relationship, alluding to infidelity without explicitly naming Kundrra.
Dandekar claimed her former partner cheated on her and used dating applications to engage with other women. She further specified that despite being the faces of a dating app campaign, her partner allegedly used the platform to meet “many girls in Mumbai.”
Karan Kundrra himself weighed in on the viral exchange. He humorously commented on Prakash’s birthday post, asking, “Why did you break Didi (elder sister)?” This playful response was met with amusement from fans.
Kundrra and Dandekar were a high-profile couple for several years before their breakup in 2020. Kundrra subsequently met Prakash during their participation in ‘Bigg Boss 15,’ where their romance began.
They have since become one of Indian television’s most prominent celebrity couples. Following Dandekar’s podcast, Kundrra had previously posted, and later deleted, an Instagram note that referenced “elite women” and allegations of mental harassment.
