The world of competitive esports constantly shifts. Teams are always looking to refine their lineups and gain an edge. Team Liquid, a major name in professional gaming, recently confirmed some important changes. On Thursday, September 4, 2025, the organization announced a refreshed roster for its PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile squad.
These changes follow the departure of two key players. Davi “Cardozin” Cardoso and Otávio “NighTT” Melo are no longer with Team Liquid’s PUBG Mobile team. Their exit opened the door for new talent and a strategic reshuffle.
The team wasted no time bringing in new blood. Caio “Caiowski” Caldatto will now lead the squad as its in-game leader (IGL) and captain. Taking on the critical role of coach is Vitor “ViTU2K” Stavarengo. These two new additions join the existing players: Anderson “Chieff” Nunes, Gonzalo “Ayala,” and Matheus “Mythic” Arantes. This new group forms Team Liquid’s official PUBG Mobile lineup.
The news of these changes first surfaced a day earlier. Team Liquid’s social media shared an update on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, hinting at the new lineup. The post welcomed both Caldatto and Stavarengo. It highlighted their arrival to strengthen the team, often referred to by its Portuguese moniker, “Cavalaria,” or “The Cavalry.” The organization expressed happiness in welcoming them.
É A NOVA ERA DO PUBG MOBILE! 🔥

Vitor “ViTU2K” Stavarengo shared his thoughts on joining the respected Team Liquid brand. He acknowledged the big challenge and reward of his new role. “Taking on this responsibility in a team like Team Liquid is an enormous opportunity,” Stavarengo stated. He believes in the talent and hard work of his players. “We have players with a lot of talent and dedication, and our focus will be to transform this potential into solid results within the PMSL.”
The new roster will face its first major test very soon. Their official debut is set for the PUBG Mobile Super League, known as the PMSL. This tournament will show how well the new captain, coach, and players work together under pressure. The esports community will be watching closely to see if Team Liquid’s strategic changes lead to victory.
